ABOUT REBATE FORMULA

Home Benefits Plus rewards you with a 25% rebate on Real Estate commissions when buying or selling your home, saving you thousands of dollars.

EXAMPLE: You are buying a $300,000 home using a Realtor referred by Home Benefits Plus. The commission paid to the agent representing you would typically be $9,000.00 – you would receive a rebate of $2,250.00.

Home Benefits Plus refers a Realtor to you to handle the sale of your current $250,000 home.

EXAMPLE: The commission paid to the agent who represents you would typically be $7,500 – you would receive a 25% rebate of $1,875.00. This means, in this example of buying and selling you could receive a total savings of $4,125.00.

The above examples are based on brokerage commission of 3% of the buying or selling price.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:

  1. Call CU Mortgage Division at (360) 539-4687 and obtain a mortgage loan pre-approval. Or visit their webiste at www.cumortgagedivision.com .
  2. After your obtain your Mortgage Loan Pre-Approval call Home Benefits Plus @ (888) 603-9563 and ask for Cathryn Warren.
  3. Tell us the amount of your pre-appoved loan from CU Mortgage Division a Branch of Network Funding, LP. as well as who your Loan Officer is and what area you are intersted in buying a home in.
  4. You will be personally contacted by one of our Home Benefits Plus consultants who will refer you to a specially trained real estate agent.
  5. After the transaction is complete, you will receive a 25% rebate* on the selling or listing side of the real estate commissions.

To take advantage of the program, you must call HomeBenefitsPlus before contacting an agent directly. No rebate is available if you work with an agent directly. You should have your pre-approval certicate or letter from CU Mortgage Division in hand when you call for your Real Estate Agent referral if you are buying a home.

HomeBenefitsPlus offers a rebate of 25% of the total commission earned by the agent representing you in the transaction, when you complete your real estate transaction through the HomeBenefitsPlus program. No Rebate is available if you contact a real estate agent on your own, before enrolling in the HomeBenefitsPlus program.

Remember, there are two sides to every transaction, buyer’s and seller’s. The commission is generally paid by the seller both to the agent representing the seller and the agent representing the buyer. A total commission paid by a seller of 6% might be split 3% to the buyer’s agent and 3% to the seller’s agent. COMMISSIONS ARE NEGOTIABLE BY LAW. The following States currently prohibit real estate rebates: AK, ID, IA, KS, LA, MS, NJ, OK, OR and TN. This program is subject to lender approval and approval may vary from program to program or lender to lender.

You can use the HomeBenefitsPlus program each time you buy or sell residential real estate, with no limit.
